  Booked this place on line with Canada Stays VRBO in March...received the confirmation with Canada Stays but not the hotel...Finally called the hotel in May and was told my reservation was fine for July.... 2 weeks before our vacation my reservation was canceled....not sure why.....So I paid a lot more for rooms in Waterton but was able to stay in that town.....When I went by the Bayshore Inn they had a vacancy sign.... I highly recommend the Waterton Lakes Resort and Bear Mountain hotel.... But I am not happy with the Bayshore Inn or Canada Stays VRBO....

  What a wonderful stay we had at the Bayshore Inn. Steps from the beach and a great view of the Rockies. Chophouse restaurant close by for a great dinner. Live music lounge. Awesome hiking, friendly staff. What more could you want.

  The rooms are pretty rustic and out of the way. Seems like they're from the 80s. We were there on a 95-degree day, granite they don't get very many of those, had to use a through the wall air conditioner, it was extremely loud but cooled the room immediately. The room looked out at the water, however the balcony was very dirty and a lot of bugs. Did not feel comfortable leaving my room and leaving my items unlocked. A lot of street traffic in the parking lot. The front desk was not open early in the morning no complimentary coffee and no one there to answer questions to help us get started in the early part of the day.

  The room itself was dated though, the wall paper and carpet looked old, and the mattress too. Cleanness was ok, but the washroom floor tiles were kind of sticky. I would say if they renovate a little it would feel more welcoming. Just to be fair, I've heard that other competitions in the same price range are more or less the same, unless you get the super expensive newly built ones.

  Overall it was a nice stay, I enjoyed the convenience and the lakefront view.

  Visited there on May 22, 2017. The location is very good, and it's right beside the lake. Most of the rooms have lakefront view. I booked a room which was on the second floor with balcony and the lake view which was very nice. The rooms on the main floor have access to the lake directly from their deck if that's something interested you.
